Merry Christmas Everyone

What a busy day we have so many people to go visit today, he is wearing his Santa suit that his great aunt Marilyn and uncle Gary got him from Myrtle Beach . First we are going to grandma and grandpa Bercaw's to visit. Then from there we are going to grandma and grandpa Hinkel's house all of my family with be there having Christmas dinner which grandma is cooking. Santa brought a fire truck, play phone, glow bear, clothes, books, and much much more. His favorite toy was probably his firetruck. By the end of the night Ethan was so tried due to all the excitement and not having a nap that he screamed in the car the whole way home.

Winter Has Arrived

We are not happy that winter is here because Ethan loves it outside so much. It's going to be a very long winter. This is his new toy that he loves, he'll usually play in his saucer for about half an hour, which gives me time to get somethings done around the house. He has become a very loud boy, he laughs and babbles all day long, it's so cute. He's trying so hard to sit up by himself, but he's not quit there yet. I think he's teething because he goes through about 5 bibs a day and his hands are always in his mouth.

Fantasy Land

Ethan went to go see Mrs. Clause and Santa at fantasy land. He loved Mrs. Clause they read book together when he was waiting to see Santa. This place was the same way I remembered it from when I was a child, I couldn't believe it.

Cereal ?

What a mess this made Ethan had no idea how to eat from a spoon, I think most of it got on his bib. After he gets the hang of it I'm sure he'll love to eat, but as of right now not so much he would much rather have a bottle.

Happy Halloween

On Halloween Ethan went trick or treating with his cousin Madsion at grandma and grandpa Hinkel's house. Ethan was a monkey and Madison was a ladybug. Ethan costume was way to big for him, so my mom had to sew it to make it smaller. They both looked so cute in their costumes.

A Day At The Pumpkin Patch

We took Ethan to the pumpkin patch today out in New Boston, it was a beautiful day the weather was perfect. On the way there Ethan fell asleep in the car which extremely unusual, so when we got there he was a little out of it. We went and show him the animals and then went and picked out a pumpkin for him. We tried to get a picture of him sitting in the pumpkin patch, but he kept falling over being that he didn't know how the sit up by himself yet. In the picture all you can see is his little bald head, which I think is too cute!!

We Lost the 50/50 !!

Well, soy didn't work for Ethan! So welcome to nutramigen hypoallergenic formula. The doctor says Ethan is allergic to the proteins that are in formula which is what caused his colic. Sense we put him on nutramigen everything is going great he smiles all the time. Thank GOD I thought I was going to lose my mind, I probably would have if wasn't for my mom and dad (thanks for all your help we appreciate all you did for us.) Ethan has learned how to roll from back to front at 11 weeks (yeah!), but he is still not sleeping through the night which is getting extremely exhausting. Right now Ethan enjoys going for walks, swinging in his swing (thanks Mercedes) and taking a bath. At night he pretty much sleeps in his swing after a couple of hours in his crib. Anyways enjoy the pictures.

Things Seem A Little Better!!

Ethan seems to be feeling a little better at 2 months but still not sleeping much. He still cries alot but we are making progress. He has a new doctor and surprise surprise he has colic and acid reflux. She put him on Zantac and we put him on soy formula instead of breast milk. Hopefully things we brighten up from here the doctor says it's a 50/50 chance this will work. Ethan finally smiled at 7 weeks we were at Sears getting his picture taken which happened to be the first day of soy formula.

A very long month!

Ethan has had a very long month, all he does is cry we think he has colic and maybe acid reflux but the doctor says he just fussy (yeah right he has no idea what he's talking about.) We are in the process of switching doctors, we'll let you know what happening hopefully soon. Here are some cute photos we've taken.

Look At My Bedroom

Ethan bedroom is done in jungle theme, I hope he likes it. Brian, my dad, and Brian's step dad just put wood flooring in his room a couple of weeks ago. Thanks for all your help it turned out beautiful.

1 Day Old

We are preparing to leave the hospital with our tiny baby boy, but first he got his picture taken and then loaded him into that huge car seat. I was so afraid to take him home in this seat because he was so little and it was so big. The car ride home pleasantly quiet he didn't even cry, I was shocked.

Welcome to the world Ethan Brian !!!

Born June 21, 2007 @ 8:34 a.m. weighing in at 6lbs 4ozs. He looks just like his daddy but has his mommy's eyes. We can't wait to bring him home so everyone can meet him.
