Elizabeth Park

We had such a great time at Elizabeth Park. Ethan played on the play scape, went down and walked by the water, and ate ice cream and watermelon. The ponies weren't out that day, so we have to take him back so he can see the ponies. We have been to so many parks already this summer, it's probably one of his favorite places to go. I can't believe how fast our little boy is going up.

Summer Fun With Madison

We had Madison over yesterday to play, I took them to the park and they had a blast. Ethan loves the slides, and Madison loves the swings. They are total opposite when it comes to playing, but yet they play so well. She wouldn't go down the slides because they were to tall, so she swang the whole time.

A Day At The Zoo

It was very hot the day we went to the Detroit Zoo, so there weren't many animals out but we still had a good time. Ethan really liked the giraffes but he couldn't feed them due to his allergies, maybe next time we are hoping he grows out of that.

Ethan Turns 2!!!!

We can't believe Ethan is already two, it's amazing how fast time goes by. We had a beautiful day for his birthday bbq. We had family and friends over to celebrate. Ethan had a blast playing with his cousins and friends. He had no nap that day, which was the first time ever and he did so good. He had a monkey theme birthday party, his cake turned out really cute. He got a sand and water table, trucks, tee ball, balls, clothes, a swing, tools, tigers tickets, and so much more. Everyone must have sang happy birthday five times because he loved it so much. Thank you for the wonderful gifts and for all the help.

Oh Froggie Froggie

This pic was taking about 4 blocks away from our house, in someone front yard. We were walking one day and he fell in love with this frog, ( or as he would say Oh Froggie Froggie.)
Everyday when we go for a walk we have to visit the frog. He has attempted to take it with us, thank god its to heavy.

Happy Mother's Day

I had a very good mother's day, we went to a bbq at my mom's house to celebrate. Ethan got me flowers, and a frog charm for my pandora bracelet, which is so cute it looks like the frog he sleeps with at night.

Happy Easter

Easter was very busy, we went to my aunt's house in canton to celebrate. Ethan played outside with cousins Hannah and Madison. He got alot of nice things from the Easter bunny, but he favorite were the little cakes. We had a Easter egg hunt in our backyard which he cared less about. I had to pick up all the eggs from the yard.

These pics are from Wyandotte's Easter egg hunt at Bishop Park. It was sooo cold that day and we waited in line to see the bunny for about 1 hour it was soooo crazy we will never go back. Ethan didn't like the bunny so we got no pics. The sleeping pic is from the car ride home from that very long cold day.

Merry Christmas

Ethan liked Christmas much more this year than last, though I still don't think he understood. We visited with family on Christmas eve and Christmas day. Ethan got a lot of really nice toys and clothes. His favorites gifts he received are books, his Cars chair, and Elmo Live. He really enjoyed eating sweets and tearing wrapping paper, things he couldn't do last year. We took him to go see Santa at Santa's Magic Forest in Taylor, which he loved.

Detroit Zoo

We went to the zoo on election day with my friend Theresa and her daughter Ava. The weather was perfect for the zoo all the animals were out for the kids to look at. We went into the butterfly house and a butterfly landed right on Ethan's arm, I wish I could have taken a picture. I can't wait to take him back to the zoo next year he will really enjoy it a lot more than this year.

Halloween

Ethan was a 3 eyed monster for Halloween, he went trick or treating at his nana and papa's house with his cousin Madison. There are also pics of Ethan at the pumpkin patch and carving his pumpkin with his dad.

Summer Fun

We had a great summer with Ethan, he loved playing outside on his new swing set that he got with all his birthday money from the family. Most days we were outside from sun up to sun down, the only time we would come in was to sleep. We are not looking forward to the cold weather. Ethan has went from walking to running within a week, has 16 teeth now and eat pretty much anything you give him.

Family Vacation

These pictures were taken on our trip up north. We had a blast the whole week we were gone. Ethan learned to walk and run while on vacation. Him and his cousin Madison played together all day long. We went to Higgins lake which is where Grandma and Gramdpa Hinkel's house is the kids played at the beach, Ethan loved it!! We can't wait to go back next summer.
