1st Birthday!!!!!

Ethan turned 1 today!!!! I can't believe a year has already past it has gone by so fast. He had so much fun at his party, he was so excited. We had him his own little cake, he had a blast with that he probably would have ate it all if I hadn't taken it away from him. He got so many nice gifts, ride on toys for outside, bubble mower, blocks, clothes, money, gift cards, sand toys, cars, trucks, tiger tickets,and you name it he got it. So many people showed up to share this special day with us. Unfortunately the weather was horrible for a outside BBQ, but we still had a great time. Ethan had his push walker outside and we were chasing him with an umbrella it was so funny. We all had to take turns chasing him around, he was with his Uncle Jereme most of the time (thanks alot Ethan loves you very much!!) Ethan got to meet some of his new baby cousins Isabel and Hannah and also my best friend Maria's little boy. At his next birthday there will be kids running around all over.

Summer is here!!

Ethan loves to be outside he plays in his walker and likes to go for long walks. It will be exciting when he learns to walk so he can play in the backyard. He is starting to take a few steps here and there. But he gets around alot faster crawling then walking. My mom also brought him this push toy that he can walk behind that he loves, it's pretty much all that he plays with inside the house. Ethan says "Thanks Grandma." We are very busy getting prepared for Ethan's 1st birthday the theme for his party is jungle. We are having a big BBQ at our house on June 21st with family and friends. So we hope to see you there, in the mean time hope you enjoy the pics.

Mother's Day

Ethan got me a pandora charm for my bracelet that he got me for Christmas. The charm is a little baby bootie with a blue rhinestone. Brian also let me sleep in and made me breakfast. Later that evening we went out to dinner with my whole family to celebrate the big day. It was a wonderful first mother's day.

Springtime

What a long winter, we are so happy to be able to play outside. Ethan loves going on walks and playing at the park. Most of the time when Brian picks him up from my dad's they stop at the park on the way home. While he is with his grandpa while mom and dad are at work they go on long walks and swing in the backyard. His great grandma says that while she watches him she gets her exercise she walks him all over the neighborhood.

Easter

I took Ethan to visit the easter bunny at Ray Hunter, I thought he would be scared but he never cried. The easter bunny brought him clothes, stuffed animals, books, and toys.

8 Months

Ethan's growing up so fast, since the last posting he has learned to crawl and pull up on everything. He has no fear of anything so he is constantly falling down. He has also learned what the word "NO" means but he does whatever he whats. He has 6 teeth now and wants to eat whatever you are eating but we have to be careful of what we give him, he still has some stomach problems. He is so much happier now that he can get around on his own, he gets into everything.

Sitting alone, and trying to crawl !!!

At 7 months Ethan can sit up by himself (yeah!) right now he really loves his swing but refuses to sleep in it anymore. He is starting to sleep through the night a little better, we had had to put through what we called baby boot camp, which meant making him cry it out at night. It was a very hard thing to do but now that he has been sleeping better he has much better mornings. Ethan has finally learned how to jump in the door way jumper after sitting in it for months, now I think we need a bigger doorway, he gets a little wild in it. He has 2 teeth but I can see the front top teeth starting to break through.
